I saw this film once when I was younger, and loved it. When I watched it again recently I really enjoyed it, and had forgotten virtually everything that had happened but the last ten minutes were still clear in my head, so the surprise was ruined a second time (and it's not like Fight Club, where seeing it a second time gives you a whole new view). -

Clever Movie, ticks the boxes of the type of movie I like most, a psychological, mental thriller. I like it when Michael Douglas loses the plot towards the end and starts pointing his 'gun' at people.

It's totally intense and gripping. I'm just sad to say I was really disappointed by the ending, so much so I docked it two points. It's not what I was hoping for and it just seemed really implausible and far-fetched. But it's still a really good movie.

Once again David Fincher has constructed an interesting and different sort of movie. Unfortunately repeat viewings cannot reproduce the punch of seeing this movie for the first time, but each viewing does reveal smaller bits of style that contributed to the movie's overall merit.

Does society and it's rules can really shape our behaviour up to the point of controlling our basic instincts? The Game poses this question in a very engaging way. The complaint about the situations being "unrealistic" vanishes if you really consider what the film is trying to aim for. Can someone's actions be so predictable because of the way he has lead his life, and the events that had happen in it? The movie takes the risk of going for a full "yes". Iit manages to put a lot more on the table than most standard hollywood thrillers.
Stop re-watching Hype Club and give this film another chance. -

I like movies where you're there for the enjoyment. This one had too many twists and I don't enjoy movies where I feel like a test will be given later. -

eerie, opaque, mind-bender..a wild trip you wont forget..michael douglas plays the role to perfection...interesting concept thats probably more real than fiction...first rate thriller full of suspense and will keep you guessing right till the end!!

Just like being in a nightmare and u cannot wake up!!!An intense thriller-screenplay about the freakish "falling" of a prestigiouse main character!The unpredictable mysterious plot keeps getting better & better as the time goes by...This movie is an explosive mixture of agony and compulsion!I couldn't expect any less by the outstanding David Fincher's direction!

That's what I'm talking about when I'm saying Intelligwent thriller. And yes! David fincher scores again. I must say that I had imagined a story like that a thousand times (Conspiracy Twist), and I hadn't ever seen any movie wich used this idea. I now havee a duty in less.
Michael Douglas was great, it's not true that this guy his not as a talented actor as he looks, like some say. In movie like this an Traffic, he prooves the opposite. David fincheer is one of my favorite directors and always will be, and it'a for things like that. Hell of a film! -

MCT:April 3, 2008I have seen this Movie twice. It is really Mind Screwing some how. You never know what happens the next. I m actually not a Douglas or Penn Fan, but I enjoyed this Movie. I could reveal the End and what I think of it. But I might spoil for some Friends who want to watch it. But I would like to say, the End was unexpected. WOW!!

I've seen it like... 5 times, I guess and it somehow nerver gets boring. You'll be blown away by the twist in the end!

i liked this movie, it's very intense,there's a moment where u start thinkin' it's all true but in the end it was just a surprise party, they just said just joking in other words...
